SOAP is open after school, Monday – Friday 3.15pm – 5.15pm

SOAP will be open during the weekdays of May half term (not including Spring Bank Holiday)
on Tuesday 29th May – Friday 1st June, 10am – 4pm.

Come and join the fun, meet new friends, be outdoors, and be fit for play… rain or shine!

Entrance is free, and we welcome everyone!

SOAP is closed on weekends and Bank holidays (except on community days***),
but you can book it for your own private party during the weekend!

We realise from the online reviews that the restricted opening has caused disappointment and problems for some.  We are sorry for this. SOAP is hired out at the weekend to raise funds to keep it open free of charge to all children after school and during the holidays.  We don’t want to have to charge children to use the playground at these times, but we do need to raise money for upkeep and playworkers.

Thank you for your understanding.

***Our next community day will be on Sunday, 1st July 2018.

SOAP is a charity run entirely by local volunteers.  We promote outdoor, active, inclusive play because it’s fun and good for you.  We believe that all children regardless of background should have access to exciting outdoor play opportunities.  If you have any ideas or would like to volunteer to help raise funds, please contact us.

Please donate to help keep SOAP open to all. Your donation will fund playworkers and activities at SOAP.

SOAP is an open access playground and children can come and go as they choose.  We are not a registered childcare provider.  Registration forms are available at the bottom of this page.  PLEASE ENSURE SOAP HAS UP TO DATE INFORMATION FOR YOUR CHILD IF THEY ARE UNACCOMPANIED.

Looking for a party or meeting venue?  Are you a teacher?  Why not take your class outside for the day?
